Twyford Seniors lost their second game in a row despite a spirited display against Hook & Newnham Basics IV.

Bowling first, Twyford bowled Hook & Newnham out for 175 which is around par at Hunter Park. John Paine was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4-26, an impressive return. After tea, Alex Reidy opened the batting and scored 69, but with little support around him Twyford were bowled out for just 123, losing by 52 runs. Next week sees the return of a lot of players from school, work and university, as Twyford look to get back to winning ways.
