The Twyford Seniors averages for the 2015 season:
The league releases the batting statistics as total runs scored for the season, not as an average. Similarly with the bowling – the league structures the averages via total wickets taken.
Leading the club’s batting list was Alex Reidy. He scored an impressive 474 runs at an average of 47.4 from 11 innings with a high score of 84*. Alex also appeared 6th in the league’s list of total run scorers – a fantastic achievement.
Tony Butcher scored 340 runs at a staggering average of 85 from just 5 innings, and Nick Moreland scored 320 runs at 29.09 from 12 innings. Both Tony and Nick made the centuries list for the league with their scores of 104 and 135 respectively, Nick’s being the 5th highest score in Regional Division 2 North in 2015.
On the bowling front, Tom Ducker took 18 wickets in 79.1 overs. Tom took the 17th most wickets in the league for 2015 but his average of 13.88 would’ve placed him 9th in the league. His best figures of 6 wickets for 4 runs was the best achieved by anyone in Regional Division 2 North in 2015, brilliant effort Tom.
Mike McKenzie just missed out on the league list, taking 14 wickets from just 42 overs, at an average of 16.14 and a best of 5-36.
